Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Bass

Welcome! My name is Laura Bass and I am the speech-language pathologist. This is my second year working for Quogue Elementary School and I am excited to be returning to the Quogue School family!

My goal is for students to be given the necessary support throughout the year so they can better access the academic curriculum. In my speech room, we work hard to accomplish our speech and language goals but I also love to keep things as fun as possible.

In case you would like to know about my background... I grew up in East Moriches, graduated from Westhampton High School (let's go Hurricanes!), and have lived in and around the New York City area for the past 7 years. I have recently moved back to Long Island and I am beyond excited to be back in this special community and excited to be working with your children this school year.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at New York University and my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Molloy College. Throughout the New York City metro area, I have worked in charter schools, private practices, and public schools with school aged children.

If you have any questions at all throughout the school year, please do not hesitate to contact me at  We are going to have a great school year!
