    back to school

    Dear Pre-Kindergarten families,

Welcome to Pre-K!  I hope you’re enjoying your summer.  I can’t wait to meet you and begin our year together!  Class begins for students on September 9th.

Here is a list of items you will need for school.  If the item has an asterisk (*) next to it, it means that you will need one at home as well in the case that we return to distance learning.

    small white board and marker*

    3 plastic folder

    4 sharpened pencils

    scissors*

    crayons*

    markers*

    colored pencils*

    glue sticks*

*a pack of plastic teddy bear (or other shape)

counters (they’re available on Amazon. We’ll only

       need 20.)*

    1 pair of ear buds

    1 yoga mat

Please have everything marked with your child’s name on it.  We will provide a colored bin for each student to store his or her belongings separate from those of everyone else.  Under the circumstances, we are going to stress the idea that there is absolutely no sharing of materials, and we’d greatly appreciate you starting to in grain this message at home.  In addition to learning and FUN, our primary concern is the health and safety of everyone in the classroom.

In order to introduce our new routine and to help the children assimilate to school, we will dismiss at 12:15 until September 25th.  Starting on September 29th, (we have a 3 day weekend for Yom Kippur) we will begin our full days.

I can’t wait to get to know you!! We’re going to have an amazing year!  See you on September 9th!

    Love,

    Mrs. Ryan
