• I hold a permanent certification from New York State to teach Pre-K through grade six. Additionally, I have a District and Building Level Administration certification and a degree from Stony Brook University, and a Business and Marketing certification. Additionally, I have taken and passed the Educational Technology New York State exam.

I believe the technology tool chosen for a class activity must have a clear purpose, be age-appropriate, and allow the child to take an active role in his or her own learning. I believe that patience and a little know-how are keys to the success of classroom technology integration. I have been working with technology for many years and look forward to the next decade of digital tools.

On a personal basis, I love traveling, sailing, and spending time with my husband, son, and my lovable pooch.

The computer or iPad are important tools used to enhance lessons and engage our digital natives with hands-on meaningful activities. I hope to encourage students to embrace technology as a lifelong learning tool.
